Refund and cancellation policy
When you get money back, when you don't, and how long it takes.
Effective 10 August 2026. Last updated 10 August 2026.
Cancel any time — your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for. New paid subscriptions can be refunded in full within 7 days if you have sent fewer than 100 messages. Unused Meta messaging credit is refundable; credit already spent on delivered conversations is not, because Meta has already charged for it. Every paid plan also starts with a 14-day trial, so you can evaluate BotPulsar before you are charged.
Try before you pay
Every BotPulsar plan starts with a 14-day trial and unlimited team members. Use it to connect your number, get templates approved and send real messages before you are charged. Most refund requests are avoidable by doing that first.
The 7-day refund window
If you upgrade to a paid plan and it is not right for you, write to us within 7 days of the first payment and we refund the subscription in full, provided the workspace has sent fewer than 100 messages in that period.
This applies to your first paid subscription. Renewals and upgrades on an established account are not covered by it.
Cancelling a subscription
- Cancel from the billing screen, or write to us — either works, and neither requires a phone call.
- Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not cut off access on the day you cancel.
- Automatic renewal stops immediately once cancelled.
- Part-used periods outside the 7-day window are not pro-rated.
Meta messaging credit
Prepaid messaging credit is separate from your subscription and follows a different rule, because Meta charges us per message as it is sent.
- Unused credit is refundable on account closure, minus payment gateway charges.
- Spent credit is not refundable. Once a message is delivered, Meta has charged for it and that money is gone from our side too.
- Messages that fail before delivery are not charged, and any credit held for them is released back to your balance automatically.
Downgrades and upgrades
Upgrading takes effect immediately and is pro-rated against what you have already paid. Downgrading takes effect at your next renewal — we do not refund the difference for the current period, so downgrade before renewal rather than just after it.
When we refund outside these rules
- You were billed twice for the same period.
- You were charged after cancelling.
- A confirmed platform fault on our side made the service unusable for an extended period.
- Messaging credit was deducted for conversations that were never delivered.
When we do not refund
- Meta suspended or restricted your number for a policy breach — template violations, missing opt-in, or a quality rating fall. Meta's decision is not ours to reverse or reimburse.
- You stopped using the account but did not cancel it.
- Third-party costs you incurred through an integration you connected.
- Accounts terminated for fraud or abuse.
How to request a refund, and how long it takes
Write to us from the email on the account with the workspace name, the invoice number and one line on what went wrong. We respond within 3 working days.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 working days. Your bank may take a further 5 to 10 working days to show it, which is outside our control. GST already remitted is refunded in line with the tax rules that apply at the time.

Refund policy questions
Can I get a refund after upgrading to a paid plan?
Yes, in full, if you ask within 7 days of the first payment and the workspace has sent fewer than 100 messages. That window covers your first paid subscription, not later renewals or upgrades.
Is unused WhatsApp messaging credit refundable?
Unused credit is refundable on account closure, minus payment gateway charges. Credit already spent on delivered conversations is not, because Meta has already charged for those.
What happens when I cancel mid-period?
Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and automatic renewal stops immediately. Part-used periods outside the 7-day window are not pro-rated.
Do I get a refund if Meta bans my WhatsApp number?
No. A Meta suspension for a policy breach — template violations, missing opt-in, or a quality rating fall — is Meta's decision, and it is not one we can reverse or reimburse.
How long does a refund take to reach me?
We respond to a request within 3 working days and issue approved refunds to the original payment method within 7 working days. Your bank may take a further 5 to 10 working days to show the credit.
