The green tick identifies an Official Business Account. It is the badge buyers recognise, and it is the single most misrepresented item in the Indian WhatsApp API market — vendors routinely imply that buying a higher plan, or buying from them specifically, will produce one.
It will not. Meta grants the badge on notability, assessed largely from credible third-party press coverage of the brand, and the decision sits with Meta rather than with any provider. A provider can prepare and submit a strong application and can resubmit after a rejection, which is genuinely useful, but no provider can guarantee the outcome. Treat a guarantee as a reason to distrust the vendor.
