Migrate from Zoko to BotPulsar

Your number and WhatsApp Business Account stay in your own Meta Business Manager — switching platforms does not mean starting over.

Switching from Zoko to BotPulsar takes three to five working days and does not put your number at risk. Connect through Meta Embedded Signup on day one, approved templates carry over automatically, contacts import by CSV with consent state preserved, and BotPulsar's team helps rebuild your automations before you cut over — at no extra cost on every plan.

Step by step

The Zoko → BotPulsar timeline

Day 1

Connect your number

Run Meta Embedded Signup inside BotPulsar. Your WhatsApp Business Account and phone number are registered to your own Meta Business Manager, not held inside the old vendor's infrastructure, so this is a re-point, not a renegotiation. Existing chats keep their history on WhatsApp's side.

Day 1–2

Bring your templates across

Approved message templates live on your WABA, so they carry over automatically once the number is connected — BotPulsar re-syncs each template's approval status and quality rating on connect. Anything still pending review with the old vendor stays pending until Meta finishes reviewing it, regardless of which platform you're on.

Day 2–3

Import contacts and consent state

CSV import carries over tags, custom fields, owners and opt-in status, with de-duplication on the way in. If your old platform supports a contacts export, this step is usually the fastest part of the whole migration.

Day 3–5

Rebuild automations and campaigns

Chatbot flows and campaign logic don't transfer as files between vendors, so this is the one manual step. BotPulsar's team maps your existing flows into the visual workflow builder with you — migration assistance is free on every plan, including Starter Forever.

Go-live

Cut over and decommission the old plan

Once templates, contacts and automations are verified, switch your team over and cancel the old subscription. Because the number and WABA were always yours, there's no downtime window where the number is unreachable on WhatsApp.

FAQ

Migrating from Zoko: common questions

Will I lose my WhatsApp number by switching from Zoko?

No. Your WhatsApp Business Account and phone number are registered in your own Meta Business Manager, not owned by Zoko or by BotPulsar. Migrating re-points the number to a new API client — the number itself never changes.

Do my approved message templates transfer from Zoko?

Yes. Templates are stored against your WABA on Meta's side, so approved templates and their quality rating carry across automatically when you connect through BotPulsar's Embedded Signup. Anything mid-review with Meta stays mid-review.

How long does migrating from Zoko to BotPulsar take?

Most teams complete the switch in three to five working days: connecting the number and templates takes under a day, contact import a day or two, and rebuilding automations is usually the longest step since chatbot flows don't transfer as files between vendors.

Do I need to keep paying Zoko during the migration?

You can run both in parallel briefly if you want a rollback option, but most teams cut over once templates, contacts and automations are verified on BotPulsar, then cancel Zoko the same week.

Is there a charge for migration assistance?

No. BotPulsar's team helps map contacts, templates and automations at no extra cost on every plan, including Starter Forever.

What data does BotPulsar need from Zoko to migrate me?

A contacts CSV export (with tags and consent status if available) and a list of the automations or chatbot flows you rely on in Zoko today. Templates and the WABA itself come across automatically once the number is connected — nothing needs to be manually exported for those.
