Commerce Manager holds the catalog that WhatsApp product messages draw from, along with commerce eligibility settings and any shop configuration shared with Instagram and Facebook.
Because the catalog is a Business Manager asset rather than something a messaging vendor owns, it survives a change of platform in the same way a WABA does — the catalog stays, and a new provider is granted access to it.
